Mr. LaPuma is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of LCN Capital Partners where he jointly oversees all aspects of the firm’s investment activities and operations globally. He serves as one of LCN’s two-member Investment Committee and divides his time between North American and Europe.

Prior to co-founding LCN, Mr. LaPuma was a co-founder, President, Chief Acquisitions Officer, and the largest individual shareholder of W. P. Carey International, a subsidiary of W. P. Carey responsible for all sale-leaseback investments, operations, and corporate strategies outside of the U.S. Mr. LaPuma is widely credited with completing the very first corporate sale-leasebacks in Europe and Asia. Concurrently, he was President of Corporate Property Associates 14 Inc., a sale-leaseback REIT. Until 2004, Mr. LaPuma was President of Carey Institutional Properties, another sale-leaseback REIT. Mr. LaPuma has over 20 years of experience in sourcing, negotiating, structuring, financing, and closing on sale-leaseback transactions in over 20 countries.

Mr. LaPuma graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and magna cum laude with a B.A. in International Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and Sciences.
